
Alan N. Magenheim was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1983 and is licensed to practice in U.S. District Court, Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas, U.S. District Court Colorado Division, U.S. District Court Arizona Division and U.S. District Court Southern District of New York; U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 2nd, 5th, and 9th Circuits. Alan attended Brooklyn College obtaining a B.A. in 1979, then attended South Texas College of Law graduating Phi Alpha Delta obtaining his J.D. in May 1983. Alan served as a Law Clerk Hon. Norman W. Black, Chief Judge, U.S. District Court, Southern District of Texas before entering private practice. Alan has maintained a federal and state court trial practice defending businesses in Commercial Litigation, Insurance Defense, Professional Malpractice and Labor/Employment, including Nonsubscriber Litigation/Arbitration, contract negotiations, mediation, including all phases of discovery, motion practice, and trial.

Alan also has served as lead counsel or as co-counsel on as many as over thirty appellate cases over the course of his practice, arguing before the 2nd, 5th and 9th Federal Courts of Appeals as well as multiple state appellate courts in Texas.
Alan recently added the title of Mediator to his resume and is now conducting mediation in all areas of business and personal injury litigation and arbitration.
